In my opinion I don't think it is as perfect as you would expect it to be but it i s just a motel
The Rose Court Motel has been and iconic location in Richmond for as long as I can remember. They have undergone recent renovations and done a decent job at cleaning and fixing the place up. Although the rooms are basic and the amenities are limited, for the price they're not bad. Given that there are only two motels in Richmond and your choices may be very limited I would give them an opportunity.
